Sumati Gurumurthy is a seasoned Strategic Management Consultant and the Founder & Managing Director of Skills Learn Academy, a Bangalore-based organisation dedicated to advancing skill development and education excellence. With over 16 years of professional experience across the education, healthcare, and pharmaceutical sectors, she brings deep expertise in operational strategy, business transformation, and process excellence.
At Skills Learn Academy, Sumati leads the organisation’s vision to empower individuals through industry-relevant training, career development, and placement support.
Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles in operations management and customer success. Sumati is also an independent consultant, supporting startups and enterprises in developing operational strategies, RFP documentation, and process optimisation frameworks. A certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt professional, she is known for her structured approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Academically, she holds an MBA in Finance from Kuvempu University, along with a background in Public Administration and Computer Science Engineering. Beyond her corporate and entrepreneurial journey, she is a passionate career counsellor, blogger, and writer, committed to guiding individuals in their professional growth.
